HIGHLAND, Calif. The victim, April Maher, was simply walking along Del Rosa Avenue on Tuesday night. Police now have video from a neighbor's surveillance camera. It captured images of a car traveling normally on the street. Then seconds later, a truck speeds through the intersection, hitting the girl.
Authorities are looking for a mid-sized or smaller dark colored truck with right front end damage. Anyone with any information is asked to call the San Bernardino sheriff's department at (909) 425-9793.
