Ex-school official accused of lewd acts

LOS ANGELES Rooney faces five felony counts involving lewd acts with a child at the Foshay Learning Center. He's also awaiting trial on sex related counts involving three other young girls.

His case drew outrage from parents because he was transferred by the L.A. Unified School District to a South L.A. Middle School after he was investigated for statutory rape but cleared when the girl would not press charges.
