New proof that junk food is bad for you

There's new proof that a junk food diet is bad for you.A recently released study of 52 countries found that people who follow western diets heavy in meat, fried foods and salty snacks are more likely to have heart attacks -- 35 percent more likely.

Previous findings have shown that junk food and animal fats cause heart disease, especially heart attacks.

Researchers say people who ate more fruits and vegetables had a 30 percent lower risk of heart attack than others who ate little or none of these foods.
