Pumpkins can be a heart-healthy dinner

LOS ANGELES Pumpkin is full of phenols, an antioxidant found in some plant-based foods. But pumpkin phenols may be especially good for your heart. In one study, the phenols from pumpkins helped relax blood vessels, which is good for blood pressure.

If you roast the seeds, you'll get another benefit. They are rich in another type of fat that's good for blood vessels.
