CDC: Kid food allergies on the rise

The CDC says the number of children with food allergies is on the rise.In 2007 it has was reported that 1 in 26 children had a food allergy.

That's 18 percent higher than it was 10 years ago. And, researchers say the number of kids with peanut allergies has doubled.

One reason for the increase might be due to the fact that parents are more aware now of food allergies, and more likely to get kids diagnosed.
