Daylight-saving time good for heart?

October 30, 2008 12:00:00 AM PDT
Daylight-saving time ends this Sunday when we turn our clocks back one hour and return to standard time. Doing so may be good for your heart.A new study has found that the number of heart attacks actually drop on the Monday after clocks were set back an hour. Researchers say it may be because people got an extra hour of sleep.

There were more heart attacks during the week after the start of daylight-saving time, especially on the first three days of the week.
