Violent games linked to kid aggression

November 3, 2008 12:00:00 AM PST
A new report adds to the body of evidence on violence in video games and aggressive child behavior. The Journal Pediatrics report followed 1,200 kids aged 9 to 18 who regularly played violent video games.

They found over the course of a school year, these kids were more likely to display aggressive behavior.

An earlier Australian study disagrees.

Swinburne University researchers say violent games only had an affect on kids predisposed toward aggression.
