Teen shot, killed at high school campus

BELL, Calif. The victim was reportedly playing basketball when he was approached by one or more people and shot in the stomach at about 8 p.m. at Bell High School.

The victim stumbled into the school gym and collapsed in front of dozens of spectators at a basketball game.

Police say the victim may have been a former student.

Anyone with information on the shooting was urged to call the Sheriff's homicide bureau at (323) 890-5500.
