New robotic legs to aid working on feet

Honda has developed robotic legs designed to support the body and protect the joints, making it easier to walk, climb and lift heavy objects.

It is like a bicycle seat connected by a mechanical frame to a pair of shoes and responds to a person's movements.

The legs are designed for use primarily by factory workers, but could also be used to help the elderly get around.
