Group therapy may help cancer patients

Ohio State University scientists found attending group therapy can help breast cancer patients live healthier, longer lives.

Studies show that the mind has power over the body when it comes to things like depression or chronic pain. But breast cancer? The answer may be yes.

Doctors found that breast cancer patients who went to group therapy led by a psychologist had 45 percent less recurrence and a 54 percent lower risk of death from cancer.
