Bank customers warned of ATM skimmers

NEWBURY PARK A customer at the Bank of America on the 2300 block of Borchard Road in Newbury Park noticed a device on the ATM used to skim information from cards. After swiping his card, the customer saw three men sitting in a gray Jeep near the bank and notified authorities.

It's believed the men were using the device to skim or intercept the information from the transaction.

A similar incident was reported at a Bank of America in Thousand Oaks.
