2 men to be arraigned for deputy murder

LOS ANGELES Deputy Juan Escalante, 27, was gunned down in front of his parents' home in Cypress Park in August.

Escalante was getting ready to go to work and was not wearing his uniform. He worked at the jail in downtown L.A. guarding violent inmates.

Authorities arrested Carlos Velasquez and Guillermo Hernandez earlier this month for the murder. They are being held without bail.
