Blood sugar loss may trigger Alzheimer's

Their study suggests that reduced blood flow to the brain deprives energy, and that may trigger the production of protein clusters.

Those clusters may be a cause of Alzheimer's disease.

Doctors say the finding is significant, because if they can improve blood flow to the brain, it may help prevent some forms of Alzheimer's.
