Teen shot to death in North Hollywood

NORTH HOLLYWOOD Los Angeles Police officers said Baudelio Guadalupe Jara was walking near Cantaly Street and Vineland Avenue when a car with two men inside drove up to him around 2:30 in the afternoon. The passenger in the car fired several shots at Jara. The car then drove off toward Vineland Avenue and Sherman Way.

Jara was taken the hospital, but later died from his injuries.

Officers say the suspects were driving a compact grey vehicle. Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to contact North Hollywood Homicide Detectives at (818) 623-4075 or (877) LAPD-24-7.
