UCI Medical Center could lose funding

ORANGE, Calif. The deadline was revealed in a L.A. Times story that says federal regulators investigated the facility, and specifically, its anesthesiology department.

Among the most serious problems is filing medical records in advance, before procedures were done.

The hospital says it welcomes the opportunity to improve, and all the problems are fixable.
