Inglewood man fatally shoots son, self

INGLEWOOD, Calif. Officers responded to a report of an attempted suicide on the 3200 block of W. 112th Street around 12:15 a.m. When they arrived at the home they found the man and boy lying on the ground, each with a single bullet wound.

The man, identified as 27-year-old Sharome Frazier Sr., was pronounced dead at the scene.

The boy, Sharome Frazier Jr. was still alive and was transported to a local hospital, where he was listed in extremely critical condition.

Police say the boy died of his injuries Monday afternoon.

According to the preliminary investigation, the man shot his son and then shot and killed himself.

Police are still trying to figure out what led to the shooting.
