The Cessna Skymaster left Rialto Airport and was performing demonstrations, when it started to lose power and altitude.
The pilot decided to look for a clear area to land, shut off his fuel valves and made a rough emergency landing.
The plane was damaged but the pilot suffered only a minor injury to his forehead.
The pilot said he's been flying for 30 years and has logged over 600 hours in the Cessna.
