Women more severely affected by stroke?

Experts say stroke does not treat the sexes equally. More women die from stroke than men. If they survive, more women are severely disabled. Researchers say that is partially because more women are getting inadequate stroke care. They are less likely to receive timely stroke treatments like clot-busting drugs and blood thinners.

Scientists predict more women will be have strokes because many have uncontrolled /*high blood pressure*/.
