LOS ANGELES A witness said the driver of the Volvo pulled out and made a left turn in front of the officers, hitting the patrol car head-on on East Fourth Street near the southbound Hollywood freeway off-ramp.
The officers have non life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Volvo was not injured, but has been taken into custody on suspicion of drunk driving.
