SB 5 Fwy reopens after big rig accident

EAST LOS ANGELES All southbound lanes reopened after crews cleared the scene around 7:15 a.m.

The solo crash on the southbound Santa Ana Freeway just south of Indiana Street was reported about 1:20 a.m., said California Highway Patrol Officer David Porter. No one was injured, he said.

The tanker was carrying about 50,000 pounds of a waste oil product. The cause of the crash was under investigation.
