New luxury casino opens in Vegas

LAS VEGAS The M Resort is located about nine miles south of Mandalay Bay, on the southern end of the /*Las Vegas Strip*/.

The $1 billion resort has 390 rooms, nine restaurants, a spa and of course a sprawling casino.

The opening of M resort means 1,800 new jobs in a city with a rising unemployment rate.

Many Vegas hotels have been slashing room rates over the past several months to lure visitors.
