The first happened on Baxter Street, killing one person. Minutes later and just a few blocks away, a second person was shot and wounded on Echo Park Avenue. Not long after that, another man was shot and killed in Glassell Park.
Andre Upshaw was taken into custody on Monday by police who found him at a courthouse waiting to appear before a judge on a drug charge.
He is being held on $1 million bail.
