Daily wine could lower cancer risk

The condition is caused by acid reflux and usually precedes esophageal cancer.

/*Kaiser Permanente*/ researchers studied nearly 1,000 people in Northern California. They found that those who drank one glass of wine each day were 56 percent less likely to develop /*Barrett's Esophagus*/.

One theory is that antioxidants in the wine could neutralize damage from acid reflux.
