Red wine has no effect on breast cancer

LOS ANGELES Red wine may be good for your heart, but new research shows red wine does not decrease the risk of breast cancer.

Experts say after studies showed that wine might reduce the risk of other types of cancer, researchers wanted to know how big a factor the color of the wine was. It turns out - at least in the case of breast cancer - neither white nor red has much effect.
