Investigators say the victim had one leg and appeared to be a transient.
Police want to talk to a person of interest, described as a male in his late 40s with salt-and-pepper hair parted in the middle.
The person of interest was reportedly driving an 80s four-dour beige Honda Civic, with minor damage to the front passenger side just above the headlights.
