Redondo Beach suspected predator sought

REDONDO BEACH, Calif. Detectives say on February 28 he approached a 17-year-old girl on the 2200 block of Gates Avenue and tried to pull her into his vehicle. But, according to investigators, she fought him off and got away.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 40s or 50s, 5'9" to 6-feet tall, with shoulder length brownish-blonde hair.

Police say the man was driving a mid-size, dark blue or gray, 4-door sedan.
