Woman arrested in perfume thefts

San Bernardino County, Calif. Sarah Talaat Youssef was arrested after /*San Bernardino County sheriff's deputies*/ found 45 boxes of men's and women's fragrances in her home.

On March 20th, /*Target*/ officials were investigating the disappearance of expensive fragrances at the Victorville Target. Investigators spotted a woman acting suspiciously and saw her take several high dollar fragrances. She left the store with the items.

Target investigators put out a bulletin to all high desert stores to be on the lookout for the suspected shoplifter. Target Loss Prevention Officers at the Apple Valley store reported that the same suspect had stolen fragrances at their location earlier in the day.

Target contacted the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department. Deputy S. Struebing investigated the thefts and identified a woman who appeared to match the suspect description. Witnesses from both Target locations then positively identified Youssef as the suspect.

The sheriff's department also linked Youssef to thefts at the Hesperia Super Target.

Youssef has been charged with burglary and possession of stolen property. She was booked into the West Valley Detention Center on $50,000 bail.
