The Pasadena Star reports that an 18-year-old woman and a 20-year-old male are in custody at the West Covina jail and have been booked on murder and attempted murder charges.
Authorities believe the shooting was the result of an argument between one of the shooting victims and an old girlfriend.
"Information we've gotten so far it seems to be something between an ex-girlfriend and a former boyfriend," said Lt. Ron Mitchell of the West Covina Police Department. "Not gang-related at all."
