Bank robber caught red-panted

ORLANDO, Fla. Michael Daak, 34, has been arrested and charged with robbing a Banco Popular branch in downtown Orlando.

Police say a teller hid an exploding dye pack in a stack of money before handing it over to him. Daak put the money in his pants pocket, and was caught on surveillance tape running from the bank as the pack exploded. That made things easy for police; all they had to do was look for the man covered in red dye and trailing a red cloud behind him.

Getting caught wasn't Daak's only problem. The dye pack actually contained a small explosive. When it went off, it burned his groin.
