Escalade critically injures man in L.A.

LOS ANGELES Officials said the victim was crossing 98th Street when he was hit by a silver or gold Cadillac Escalade near 98th and Main streets at about 11 p.m.

The victim is in the hospital in critical condition.

Investigators say the vehicle may have front-end and windshield damage.
