WhiteHouse 2.0? On Twitter, Facebook

WASHINGTON D.C. The White House Blog announced the new addresses Friday, indicating they're part of efforts to fulfill President Barack Obama's stated goal in his most recent Weekly Address to make government "more efficient, more transparent, and more creative."

And who was the first entity @WhiteHouse followed upon joining Twitter? That would be the Centers for Disease Control (@CDCemergency).
