LOS ANGELES Local law enforcement is warning Lakers fans: many of the street vendors hawking /*Lakers*/ jerseys, tee shirts and other items are selling "knock-offs," which are usually cheaper than genuine merchandise, but are also both illegal and often poorly-made.
Fans who want official Lakers or /*NBA*/ merchandise should shop at authorized retail locations, where the items will come with a hologram sticker and label identifying the products as the real thing.
