Police said Ramos was on his way to a party Sunday morning when a speeding minivan crashed into his Honda Accord at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Atlantic Avenue.
The impact split his car in half.
Ramos was rushed to a local hospital, where he later died.
Police said the driver of the minivan fled the scene on foot.
