The members would do smash-and-grab type burglaries at shopping malls during off hours.
Police believe the crew had robbed dozens of jewelry stores in L.A., Glendale, Orange County and out of the state.
Three suspects were arrested on Tuesday outside the Montebello Town Center, and two more were taken into custody after police served several search warrants.
