"It is a red-letter day," said Leslie Lambert of the /*Community Redevelopment Agency*/ of Los Angeles, "This is just the beginning, this site will be redeveloped as something that will be beautiful and an asset for the community."
Plans for development of the site are on hold for the time being, due to the poor economy, but are expected to be revived in the future.
