Teen killed in deputy-involved shooting

COMPTON, Calif. The incident occurred near Poinsettia Avenue and Alondra Boulevard in the afternoon hours.

Investigators have only released a few details, but the coroner's office says the victim was in his mid- to late teens. They also say he was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Officials are in the process of notifying the teen's relatives.
