Madonna pays tribute to Michael Jackson

Hollywood Wrap with George Pennacchio
LONDON To the familiar beat of "Billie Jean," and with a black hat, white socks, loafers and glove one of Madonna's back-up dancers took the stage to lead the tribute to /*Michael Jackson*/.

"All I can say is, I came to see Madonna and she did that Michael Jackson tribute and I think it actually lifted the whole place. It was absolutely amazing," said a fan.

"It was like a guy came on that was impersonating him, it was just amazing and it was very touching," said a fan.

"Alright people let's give it up to one of the greatest artists, Michael Jackson. Long live the King," said Madonna.

The crowd roared its approval.

"Well she proclaimed him as the King. I think it was enough. I think Madonna has a lot of respect for Michael. I think that Madonna is the Queen of Pop and she really made sure that everyone knew that he was the King of Pop," said a fan.

For the last number of the show, Madonna and all her dancers wore jeweled gloves. Madonna said, "I don't know what artist wasn't inspired by him."
