'Potter' stars brave rainy premiere

Hollywood Wrap with George Pennacchio
LOS ANGELES Actress Emma Watson was questioning her decision to wear a long dress to the rain-drenched world premiere. The film's star, Daniel Radcliffe, put on a brave - if damp - face for the soggy red carpet event.

"For the next premiere, I'm thinking these shoes might not be so usable after this," joked Daniel. "But no, I'm having fun. This is great. This is brilliant. Emma's dress looks slightly sodden, but we're all going to be fine. This is Brit spirit! This is... we got through two wars like this. This is fine. This is wonderful. This is nothing. It's tiny. It's a spot of rain."

After spending eight years walking down these red carpets since the first film's debut in 2001, the stars have learned to just go with the flow and enjoy.

"I think when I was younger, it was just like, 'What is this?' You know? It was insane," said Emma. "I think we're a little bit, um... we know what we need to do when we get here, so that's good."

Whether facing a storm or a storm of photographers, actor Rupert Grint says he's enjoyed his ride on the "Harry Potter" train and can't believe they are close to the end of the line.

"I mean, I've loved every second of it. It's been such an amazing few years," said Rupert. "I don't want it to end."

"Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" opens July 15.
