One million play yards recalled

WASHINGTON The /*Consumer Products Safety Commission*/ announced the voluntary recall of the play yards made by /*Kolcraft*/. The yards are sold under the brand names, Kolcraft, Carter's, Sesame Street, Jeep, Contours, Care Bear and, Eric Carle play yards.

Safety experts say the play yard's side rails can fail to latch, and when a child pushes against the rail, it can unlatch unexpectedly, posing a fall hazard.

The model numbers are listed on the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission Web site.
