Man drowns trying to save swimmer

BIG BEAR LAKE, Calif. Ta Ming Fu, 33, from Alhambra disappeared in the water near Big Bear Shores last Friday after jumping in to help a struggling swimmer.

A third person jumped in to try to save Fu but was too late.

Teams searched the water this weekend without finding anything.

A man on a jet ski spotted the body on Thursday and called authorities.
