Noms for NAACP Theatre Awards announced

LOS ANGELES The annual gala is held to honor stage actors of color.

Along with an awards show paying tribute to the year's best performances, the NAACP also holds a two-day festival that features workshops to help artists learn about all aspects of producing a show.

The awards will be handed out August 31.
