Good Samaritan saves girl from fiery crash

EL MONTE, Calif. An /*Eyewitness News*/ viewer caught the rescue on tape and sent it to the newsroom.

The California Highway Patrol says the vehicle rolled over and caught fire on the westbound 10 Freeway, just west of Santa Anita Avenue in El Monte at about 1:30 p.m.

Although three people, including a child, were able to get out of the car on their own, a young girl was trapped inside.

A Good Samaritan jumped into action and pulled the girl from the flames.

Two of the victims were taken to the hospital, but everyone is expected to survive.
