Jessica Biel makes musical stage debut

Hollywood Wrap with George Pennacchio
LOS ANGELES Biel is taking a gamble and stepping outside her comfort zone this weekend. She makes her musical stage debut in "Guys and Dolls" at the Hollywood Bowl.

Biel says she comforted by the fact that she's not alone. She's got dozens of other singers, dancers, actors and musicians to help show her the ropes.

"The people are so skilled, and they just know how to be on a stage," said Biel. "So I feel like I'm learning and taken through, taking me along, they're there for me. So it's been a very nurturing experience."

At Friday's dress rehearsal, Jessica faced a live audience for the first time -- and that's the part that excites her most about this challenge.

"Anything can happen. Anybody can change things up," Biel explains. "A mistake could happen -- have to go through, the show must go on. No 'Take two,' so it's quite big adrenaline rush."

Biel and a company that includes /*Beau Bridges*/ and /*Brian Stokes Mitchell*/ will welcome audiences into the Hollywood Bowl Saturday and Sunday nights.
