O.C. Councilman rams car into power pole

WESTMINSTER, Calif. Westminster police say Andy Quach was taken into custody after ramming his Mercedes into a power pole and knocking out power to nearly 300 homes.

Quach told the /*Orange County Register*/ he must have nodded off and takes full responsibility for everything.

Quach says he did not submit a blood test, but did give a blood sample. Police say results won't be back for a few weeks.
