Stage collapses in front of Costner

CAMROSE, Alberta One person was killed, dozens more hurt, and actor /*Kevin Costner*/ was among those who narrowly escaped injury.

It happened at an outdoor country music festival near Edmonton Saturday night, when a fierce thunderstorm swept through.

The stage collapsed, and one person was killed by falling debris. Costner was just about to take the stage with his band at the time. He was not hurt.

Most of the injuries were minor, but 21 people had to be hospitalized.
