Southwest to offer Wi-Fi on airplanes

LOS ANGELES The airline says it has finished testing its onboard Wi-Fi service, and it's ready to offer it on all of its planes beginning early next year.

Southwest has been testing the service on four planes since February. The airline is also testing how much people will pay for in-flight Wi-Fi service.

Those tests will continue through the end of this year.
