Adult video gamers are not very healthy

SEATTLE, Wash. Researchers in Seattle analyzed 500 video gamers and found the typical adult gamer is overweight, introverted, and may be a little depressed.

The study says 56 percent of gamers are men.

The report says many adults may be playing video games as a form of "digital self-medication."

The findings appear in the October issue of the American Journal of Preventive Medicine.
