D.A.'s oppose prisoner release plan

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. Riverside County District Attorney Rod Pacheco says the current proposal is, "the single worst piece of legislation in the history of the state."

The bill, already approved by the Senate, would release 27,000 inmates from California's prisons. Opponents are concerned about overwhelming local jails and courts with criminals who end up being re-arrested.
