UV light machine helps fight Swine Flu

MEQUON, Wis. It's called the mobile UV sanitizer. The UV light kills all organics that it hits.

Officials wheel it into classrooms, hallways, weight and locker rooms. They say it can scan the area and zap the germs in as little as 12 minutes.

School officials say they go into classrooms once or twice a week. They think it helped keep the number of flu cases down last year.

The district has eight of the machines and paid about $3,000 apiece.
