Yet another water main break in L.A.

SOUTH LOS ANGELES Another line ruptured early Friday morning, this one in the 8800 block of Baring Cross in South Los Angeles. It's the sixth known water main break since last Saturday.

This one was reported at about 1 a.m., with water flowing through the Vermont Knolls area.

It's a six-inch main, and some 50 to 60 water customers are affected. /*DWP*/ crews were on the scene to shut off the water before they can fix the pipe.
